On the morning of March 18, Li Yonghua, Vice President of Shenzhen University, led a delegation from the School of Humanities—including Dean Ma Zili, Party Secretary Yi Ling, and Vice Dean Fung Chunho—on a visit to CR Land (Shenzhen) Co. Ltd. as part of the university’s efforts to promote graduate employment through enterprise engagement. The delegation was received by senior executives from CR Land, including Xu Yanan, Head of Urban Operations; Huang Jingqing, Assistant General Manager; Li Shuo, Director of Integrated Management; and Liu Keming, Director of HR and Administration for CR Land’s Commercial Southern China Region.

The visit began with a tour of the CR Land brand exhibition hall, where the delegation gained an in-depth understanding of the company’s development history, urban construction projects, commercial operations, and urban renewal initiatives.

During the subsequent discussion, both sides exchanged views on talent cultivation, internships, employment, and university-enterprise cooperation. Founded in 1994 and listed in Hong Kong in 1996, CR Land entered the Shenzhen market in 2000. As a flagship subsidiary of China Resources Group, it achieved a contract sales value of 261.1 billion yuan in 2024, ranking third in the industry and first nationally in commercial real estate. The company operates under an integrated “3+1” business model covering leasing, culture and sports, urban renewal, project agency, and urban operations. Its subsidiary, MIXC Life, is a leader in commercial management. CR Land has shown increasing demand for graduates with humanities backgrounds—especially in roles such as planning, positioning, and brand promotion—and offers structured training programs for new graduates. Currently, over 100 SZU alumni are employed within the company’s Shenzhen division.

Vice President Li Yonghua introduced SZU’s educational development, highlighting its alignment with the growth of the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone. Over 95% of SZU’s entrepreneurial and innovative talents remain in the Greater Bay Area. Li expressed hopes for a long-term, practical partnership with CR Land in talent development, internship programs, research collaboration, and employment matching.

Party Secretary Yi Ling presented the School of Humanities’ disciplinary strengths, talent training outcomes, and 2026 graduate profiles. As the only higher education institution in Shenzhen offering comprehensive programs in Chinese, History, and Philosophy, the School has seen a growing number of graduates taking up roles in corporate operations, marketing, and branding. Yi expressed hopes to secure more internship and job opportunities for students and explore new models of university-enterprise collaboration.

Both sides reached preliminary agreements on specific cooperation items during the open discussion.

The visit reflects the School’s commitment to strengthening ties with enterprises and implementing the “Quality Enterprise Talent Recruitment” initiative. Moving forward, the School of Humanities will continue to expand cooperation with various organizations to build broader platforms for student development and employment.
